This 21 year old is quite a find.He will be an all-formats player for the West Indies for the next decade.HUGE TALENT.
A fast attack with Alzharry Joseph,Jayden Seales and Ramon Simmonds would be quite a handful.

I'm very impress with him.
I hep he does not go the way of Shettie
In reply to Dukes
Indeed...
I hope he will win the emerging player of the CPL 2022...he is for me... nuff said
Wish he had a YOUNG Kemar Roach type of pace to go with his obvious skill. He has a very similar build of a young Roach. Hope he keeps his head on and maintains his fitness.
In reply to Dukes
Its not how talented they are these days its where their heart is. Has Simmonss shown any interest in playing for West Indies
In reply to silver
thats an odd question?
when last somebody his age picked themselves for the Senior team??
even Bish last night was saying that perhaps we may see him soon in the Big Team given his obvious talent.
If Matthew Forde gain a bit more pace he will be a handful too.. He is one of the few young pacers in the region that could keep the seam upright.
In reply to Dukes
Ramon Simmonds has taken 9 wickets so far in the tournament.
SEVEN of those wickets have come against the Amazon Warriors, and the other two against the Patriots.

Forget about CWI cricket for now, I am looking at the young cricketers in Barbados.

Lots of youngsters to work with

Surprising that you don't have Yohann Layne on that list.. He will overtake most on that list in couple years.
Hes going to Rajastan
In reply to anthonyp
You should had stop, or had him to the list, you are not god, so don't be like others in predicting what someone will accomplish.
In reply to openning
It would be a shame but Shemar Springer may have missed the boat. He has fall well behind his Under 19 championship contemporaries. Warrican's ship has sailed but I agree with anthonyp, Johan Layne should be high on that list of prospects
In reply to Larr Pullo
I suspect that Dukes is looking beyond CPL and at the recent four day championships ('all-formats player"). Stats dont say all. The youngster is a real prospect.

Agree with you about Layne. Bim is loaded with young talent that selectors hate to expose. Let talent become stale while continuing to focus on limited senior players. Layne is talented and looks a hungry bowler. He has pace but he seems to understand fast bowling. I look at him like a young Walsh. He just keeps coming at you. One for the near future.
The one that got away to England might be the missing piece to a great young fast bowling group.

Che Simmons?
In reply to Logic
Yeah I agree that he looks good. I hope Bim picks him in the next FC season and he's not snapped up to go play 4 over cricket and turns his back on the WI.
In reply to Larr Pullo
He was part of the Pride 4-day champion squad 2022.
In reply to Logic
Yes, he looked the part when i saw him.
In reply to Larr Pullo
He did play for Bim this year.
In reply to Logic
Che is the mini assassin, great loss, missing from the list are Kevin Wickham who will be in Bim 50 overs this year, and your hommie Jaden Roberts .
In reply to tc1
I see Dorne scoring some senior runs. He bats easy like Wickham who is scoring heavily locally now!
In reply to tc1
Che is fast and aggressive. He is an ole school fast bowler.
In reply to seaegg99
yes indeed.
In reply to anthonyp
are you a coach or is someone that has information on all the youngsters in the region.
You should work with Jen to provide information on the young players in the region.

The last four are still under 26/27 and therefore may yet rise to the top.
