Usually, the Top Jamaican Cricketers are away on international duty whenever the Scorpions squad is being selected.
Often the second-tier replacements are inconsistent. Making for some extremely embarrassing performances.
But this year I became aware of the emergence of a new and phenomenal Jamaican batting TALENT.
Based on his consistently excellent batting for the West Indies under 19, I called for his IMMEDIATE promotion to
the Senior Jamaican Team.

Jamaica Scorpions Jordon Johnson dilemma ...
However West Indies FAILED to make the Cricket World Cup
and it appears that ALL of our BIG STARS are now available
to represent Jamaica Scorpions.
But I still believe that that the Jamaica Scorpions should retain Jordan Johnson
for the Super50 tournament.
Even as a squad member (initially).
my Cricket Intuition is that Jamaica should work with
Kirk McKenzie and Jordan Johnson with a
view to preparing them for HIGHER DUTIES.
Therefore ... I would go into the Super 50 Tournament with a mixture of both youth and experience:
#1.) Chadwick Walton, #2.) Kirk McKenzie, #3.) Brandon King, #4.) Rovman Powell (Capt.), #5.) Jermaine Blackwood, #6.) Nkruma Bonner
#7.) Odean Smith #8.) Fabian Allen #9.) Durval Green #10.) Sheldon Cotterell #11.) Marquino Mindley
#12.) Jordan Johnson #13.) Nicholson Gordon
.... And two others.

Walton? No way.

Add right-handed batter Adrian Weir and fast bowlers Deshawn James and or Reon Edwards.

No space for young Barnes? They had some posts on social media saying he scored a ton and a 75+ in the two trial/practice matches.

EEDIOT BRAD BARNES IS NOT YOUNG. HE IS 26 YEAR OLD.
DEDING WID LAF ON UR REGIONAL CRICKET KNOWLEDGE LET ALONE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET KNOWLEDGE. IT PROVES DIRE STATE OF UR CRICKET.
Any chance we'll see Palmer?
The Yam-Licker from St. Mary, Sudden's opening bat get dropped? What happen to the WKT-KPR Kenar Lewis, who was the 4day keeper?
In reply to anthonyp
Replace "Oshame" with Bulli
Barnes, Mansingh, Aldaine Thomas(wk)
Space has to be made for these players.
This was the Jamaica squad who got the 3 month retainer up to the start of Ocotber:
Kirk McKenzie, Ojay Shields, Abhijai Mansingh, Jeavor Royal, Marquino Mindley, Derval Green, Peat Salmon, Javel Glenn, Daniel Beckford, Tevin Gilzene
Draft picks: Shalome Parnell, Carlos Brown, Andre Bailey, Gordon Bryan, Brad Barnes
SKUNTS GETTING CONFUSED BETWEEN BRIAN BARNES 16 YR OLD AND BRAD BARNES 26 YR OLD.
DEDING WID LAF ON WASTEUNDIES SKUNTS FACES REGARDING REGFIONAL CRICKET KNOWLEDGE.
In reply to bolls
You have a nerve.
In reply to anthonyp forgot about Barnes and he is a natural leader
In reply to Nyabinghi
I like this squad.
