It's a technical problem with some of the playing lights, it's not like the whole Guyanese stadium blackout..I don't think this is a Guyana issue..

Sleep time for me because Guyana giving trinidad a very easy pathway to the semi finals by locking down the playing field floodlights .

cricketfreak Oct 1, 2024, 9:38:25 PM

I think all trini's will love if the lights don't come back on for the rest of the night .

This has made all the effort that has been in to the CPL for the past three years go in vain

If this had happen anywhere in the windwards or leewards island you would not have heard the end of the story .

So true. President there boasting I bet you he won't be near a mic for the rest of the CPL.

InHindsight Oct 1, 2024, 10:43:51 PM

This is very unfortunate and I will not bash Guyana as a nation nor the territorial board for this.

Let's identify it for what it is - a technical glitch, all learn from it and mitigate

cricketfreak Oct 1, 2024, 10:51:14 PM

Lawd man this is unfair to barbados they did not even get a simple chance to fight back this is not good a tarl Guyana should be punish for this or charge a heavy fine !

cricketfreak Oct 1, 2024, 10:52:08 PM

Why someone have to cheap for trinidad why why ! ?

sgtdjones Oct 1, 2024, 10:55:29 PM

Hold your horses! It looks like the tower has been given a new lease of life and is slowly shining bright like a diamond. The efforts of the chief electrician have seemingly reaped rewards

"The staff at the ground are working on fixing the broken light tower. We can start a 5 over game at 11:01. If it goes past that time TKR advance to Qualifier 2 as they finished higher in the league stage." reads a tweet from CPL official account

cricketfreak Oct 2, 2024, 12:05:10 AM

So glad trinidad get beat down by barbados big grin
