Wait, no last week most on here were hailing Carty as he who would save WI cricket following one good knock.

WI batters ,this bunch especially must learn to fight in tough circumstances
and place value on their wickets even if it means looking ugly. Test cricket is
a very tough business especially when bowlers have conditions to operate
effectively.
Saw a commanding spell by Bumrah at Perth earlier today,reducing OZ to
60 odd for 7 at Perth's new venue. Number 3,Labuschagne made 2 in 52 balls
after being dropped at zero but all the OZ batters were made to look bad
by a man who is one of the best quicks in the world.
Sometimes bowlers deserve to have their day but batters must fight too
as they will not have things their way all the time.

He tried to give the charge, got too close to the ball and looked to heave it. But he got an outside edge and was an easy chance for the man at slip. I went out and came back to see this..I am dealing with a toothache, and these guys

Should be an easy win for WI especially if they take their catches which are sure to come.
Anything can happen and Bangladesh has made a game of this so far, giving themselves
time to get the runs...But they are not a top tier team and should not pose
big problems to the home team.
But we can never tell.
Had Shakib Al Hasan been around I would have given them a better chance.

I was saying this morning that Taskin bowled with real heart in the 1st Innings and was relentless today. He deserved the 6 wickets - total effort.

I hope Alzarri, Seals, Roach and Shamar take a page out of his book and keep that line and length.

The 1st innings made this safe for WI and probably made them complacent.

Not sure about that. If a man retires hurt, and he is the last batsman, is it treated as a declaration or is it simply that your innings has come to an end and you cannot continue. At least we now know the probable reason for that strange declaration yesterday morning.
