Biden and his advisors are insanely stupid. They're pushing the envelope.
By this i mean that they're playing on the fact that in coming Trump is averse to military conflict and Putin understands this.
Putin claims are that Ukraine the former Soviet state, could present a nuclear threat to Russia given it alliance with NATO. Whether we believe this is another issue.
Trump is willing to bring both parties to the table to deescalate the situation and broker peace.
