Who are the players to look out for?
Think Titland will be captained by young Pollard.
Here is the Guyana squad...
Guyana Under 15 team departs for Regional tournament
The Guyana under 15 team departed Guyana earlier this morning to Antigua for the 2025 Cricket West Indies Rising Stars under 15 tournament schedule to commence on Tuesday.
Guyana play their first match against Trinidad and Tobago at the Sir Viv Richards Stadium.
The squad features Richard Ramdeholl as captain and Brandon Henry as vice-captain. The full team includes: Justin Dowlin, Lamar Seecharran, Luke Amsterdam, Shahid Ramzam, Arif Bacchas, Richard Ramdeholl, Nathnil Ramsammy, Jathniel Nurse, Usain Fredericks, Brandon Henry, Reyaz Latif, Patrice Fraser, Raffeal McKenzie, Prosper Jacobus.
The reserves are: Khush Seegobin, Joshua Thomas, Bomesh Lall, Nathan Bishop, Tameshwar Deonandan, Typese McPherson.
I think Nathan Bishop got a raw deal.. he bowls left arm wrist spin, finished the GCB inter-county as the joint leading wicket taker but still didn't make the cut.
Guyana got some tall young pacers in this squad.. looking forward to see how they go... Raffel McKenzie and Patrice Fraser are some big lads. Already over 6 feet. Latif is also a good young wrist spinner. (Out of the three brothers I think he is the best)
Isai Thorne brother is also in the squad.. Luke Amsterdam, he's a batsman though. The key batsmen for them should be Ramdeholl, Seecharran and Bacchus.

Barbados young batsmen looking pretty well prepared.
Clarke, Parrish and Smith today.
Hinds will soon also.
Ump cheated out Clarke for 86. I mean no one really appealed and called out caught.

The two opening bowlers for Barbados, Jahidi Hinds & Jeremiah Forde both look very promising. Left arm pace with late inswing from Forde and lively pace & bounce from Hinds accounting for the early wickets in the match vs Leewards.

If you mean Clarke's dismissal, the ball was clearly missing the bat. Such that the kepper didn't even appeal.

If I’m totally honest, I’ve been a little disappointed, certainly with their returns
Having said that, I think there is definitely some promise there.
They are both very tall, particularly Fraser who is also very long limbed. He has a very square on shoulder only action, the leading left arm contributes virtually nothing. Obviously they are very young and with presumably a lot of growing to do, which makes you wonder how tall these guys are going to be.
Slightly disappointed, but I would say definitely promising
What do you think ?
BTW … do you know what’s happening with Thorne ?…. Virtually non existent this season… I presume constantly injured ?

I'm disappointed in their returns to date too.
But lots of promise there. They gotta work with Fraser to sort out that front arm. McKenzie needs some work on his run up. In couple years time with de right coaching they could be a handful.
Thorne missed a few matches because of his toe.. when he returned he couldn't make the XI due to Keemo returning. I think at this point the best place for him would be with the Academy team. Hopefully he gets a few matches in the upcoming t20 tournament.

When you were at UOW, a master was part of your team. A coach should be able to assist these players by going onto the field or walking the sidelines and instructing them.
I have only played one trial match, which was played at Parkinson when I was 13. The game was opened and scored 25 runs.
It was the most nervous I have been.
These Youngsters seem to be as good or better than most of the players I watched and played with and against from 1957-1963.
