shows the irrational entitlement of barbados and the barbados cricket establishment. want to lead when you're consistently producing substandard players
That caption sounds like a good title for a new book ...
Bajans were doing well in West Indies leadership until that Dr guy decided to join up with his Dotty Dr colleagues, Hunte and Hilaire, then added the Gibson Head Coach experiment.
To borrow a vintage Horse Racing saying, "It was then all over bar the shouting".

Apart from Lara, the only other batsman who needs to be hailed is Larry Gomes.
The region may have produced a few good players in the last 25 years; the Trinies continue to lower the bar, thinking the IPL is international or World Cup cricket.
Had that bar been lower during Clive Lloyd's era, Barbados would have had close to 25 additional greats..
