Greaves need to play
I would open with Kraigg and John Campbell but have Greaves as my bowling allrounder over Brandon King
his batting has improved a lot also

Roston Chase as captain is our bits n pieces player. Unfortunately no room for Greaves as he is not good enough as a bowler or a batsman to command either as a specialist. Brandon King does have a decent FC ave of 34.53 while Greaves ave is 29.67.

That's not the factor for me. It's what's the best make up of the team to be competitive. I say we need 5 bowlers. We always whimping it out playing the extra batter, and they usually contribute spit. Time to grow some cajones grande.

Not selected for the squad, just another one of the team that drew with Oz in the last series they played being punished for their exploits.
We don't like to be successful, brings too much pressure to stay being it.

Athanaze deteriorated rapidly after so much initial promise. King out scored Greaves in dung heap cricket, now since it was used against Kirk, I guess now you are forced to apply the same dung heap principles against Greaves.

But King and Greaves should not be vying for the same spot. Greaves must be groomed as our all-rounder. King at 5 Greaves at 6.

Now Sammy will feel the headache of picking a team with two spinners at the helm. Dunce!

Haven't seen the Oz bowling line up but assuming the usual battery of pacers, I have to agree. Both Hodge and DaSilva looked better than most at playing the short ball. Hodge is a natural backfoot player. He struggled in Pakistan.... not surprisingly... but that should be irrelevant given the very different conditions and bowlers we will face.

Wait to see what happens to Hope when the Ozzie's go short . May get away with it if he comes in 50/60 overs in. Can't see that happening

Greaves is HIGHLY thought of by this coaching team.

Given that, it’s hard to see him being omitted

Presents a bit of a dilemma. He’ll be a batting all rounder. Do you drop the vice captain so he can play?

The other options are……..

Drop one of Hope or Imlach
Drop one of Aljo, Seales, or Shamar

It's absolutely clear.....Imlach going to be dropped...Hope batting as wicket keeper - batter...our Gilchrist.....or we say Sammy - Aveenash version of Gilchrist......

Certainly possible.

After some more in depth thought, Shai Hope should be given the gloves so to allow for Justin Greaves to slot in as another allround option that can lengthen our batting and aid our bowling:
