I like the changes. Almost as I suggested.

Surprised at Hope's omission but this is a great idea with long tour in New Zealand.
West Indies: 1 Brandon King, 2 Alick Athanaze, 3 Ackeem Auguste, 4 Roston Chase (capt), 5 Amir Jangoo (wk), 6 Rovman Powell, 7 Jason Holder, 8 Gudakesh Motie, 9 Romario Shepherd, 10 Akeal Hosein, 11 Khary Pierre
Chase as captain ? Oh well. We have to bat 2nd so will be interesting. Motie is back, Jangoo and Auguste both get a game. Lot of LHB in the team 6/11.
I had the same 3 coming in but Seales, Pierre and Rutherford out.
Good going Sammy! 3-0 coming up!

i would also have given Simmons a run in place of Pierre but am glad that Motie, Jangoo and Auguste have been given a chance and hope they shine

Yes good changes indeed. Hoping they all do well as we need depth for New Zealand. It will get tougher.

There you go again. I swear you, Slipperyfella, Joe the Wino, Budhead, Jocksprat, Butthurt have no reason to label anyone as insular.

WI selectors, are a thinking people. You cannot jeopardize hope, and Simmons in a dead rubber match, we need them healthy for the next series.

Motie to Tanzid Hasan, 2 runs, dropped by Powell! Tanzid Hasan takes on the aerial route once again and Powell at long-on is quick to move across to his right. Puts in a dive and gets his hands to it, but he puts it down. Was a toucgh chance, but will go down as a dropped catch
Hasan was 57
