Looks like cricket in Jamaica not really dead

Congratulations to Jamaican cricketers on their achievement this week:

Stafanie Taylor centuries vs Ireland

Taylor becomes the fifth woman to score 10,000 runs in International cricket

Vitel Lawes 3 wickets on senior team debut vs New Zealand

Odane Binns century vs Guyana U19

Jahdae Moore 5 wickets vs Guyana U19

Jamaica Senior Team beat Barbados a few times in their domestic cricket matchup this year, although Barbados won the crucial match and Trinidad and Tobago eventually won the tournament.

Just when we thought that the sport of cricket was done and dusted in Jamaica, looks like an apparent reemergence is occurring. I think grassroots cricket is helpful to developing cricket in Jamaica, we have to make the young people experience cricket the way we did back in the days.
