Gayle has 9 ODI tons to Poops 7 and Gayle probably has played half the matches. He soon pass Sir Poops' 13 test tons

Narper Jan 28, 2005, 7:53:20 AM

20 CH Lloyd (WI) 19 110 1 87 I can't believe clive lloyd only made one ODI ton...and this one must be the 1975 Prudential WC finals

Those Tendulkar stats are mind boggling.

larafan Jan 28, 2005, 6:18:17 PM

only last night devin and i were discussing tendulkar's amount of international hundreds... and we made a prediction that samuels will surpass sachin's ODI record in his next 50 ODIs.....40 in his next 50 games to be exact

GTRudeboy Jan 28, 2005, 8:20:04 PM

In reply to Narper How many hundreds did you expect Lloyd to have batting at #6?

GTRudeboy Jan 28, 2005, 8:23:11 PM

In reply to JahJah Everything for you is still a competition eh.Soon is at least 3 years away Gayle only has 6 100's now.

JahJah Jan 29, 2005, 2:44:59 AM

In reply to GTRudeboy well, that Poops/Chris comparison is for CHrissy who keeps comparing the two. Did you not understand this? Are you new to the board?

larafan Jan 29, 2005, 2:48:50 AM

clokey Jan 29, 2005, 2:52:41 AM

must be atleast pretty close, wen lara gets a ton, he makes sure he goes on, something sachin hasnt done very often.

Chrissy Jan 29, 2005, 3:15:15 AM

OK Larafan. These don't include limited overs tons. larafan Jan 29, 2005, 3:31:05 AM

In reply to clokey esp considering tendulkar has almost 30 more tons... but tendulkar still baffles me tho...how does someone get 71 international tons??? :?

Chrissy Jan 29, 2005, 3:36:10 AM

Dat is a ton of tons fi true.

clokey Jan 29, 2005, 3:41:53 AM

i only did the test hundreds..

ToySoldier Jan 29, 2005, 3:44:16 AM

33 RT Ponting (Aus) 22 85 16 215
Total should be 37. Ponting has 21 Test centuries and 16 ODI tons, including, unfortunately, that bastard hundred made in the ICC-Asia game.

Zito Jan 29, 2005, 5:33:26 AM

Thanks Soliderman. I just corrected the Ponting error. Actually, ICC classified the charity match as a bona-fide Limited Over International. Note to folks: By "most international hundreds", I'm referring to tons made against international teams in Test and ODI matches only. First-class and List-A matches does not count. However, it might be interesting to list all tons up to League cricket levels. The following players in the above list also made 100 or more first-class centuries: WR Hammond - 167 G Boycott -151 GA Gooch - 128 DG Bradman - 117 IVA Richards - 114 MC Cowdrey - 107
