Left-handed opener Chris Gayle has been appointed vice-captain of the West Indies Team for the rest of the ODI Series against Pakistan.
Gayle fills in as Brian Lara's deputy in the absence of Ramnaresh Sarwan, who was forced to cut short the tour with a foot injury.

Is something wrong with Chattas? He has only played 1 game so far and now he is not in teh ODI team. Does anyone know??

He didn't just play one match. Off the top of my head I know Chattergoon played at least 2 matches. He could've been given a few more matches though, he didn't do too badly.

I got one really good questions, how come a Vice Cappo appointed when 2 games left? Remember when Lara didn't appoint a vice captain earlier in the year when a couple games were left? What's going on?
