Pakistan tour diary by CHRIS GAYLE

Well this is the grand finale, it has been a very long time on the road and it comes to an end as all things must come to an end.

It's been a long, hard fight on the road, three and a half months but unfortunately the tour ended on a disappointing note. We started well in Malayisa and then went on to India and finished here in Pakistan. First of all to touch on the last couple of Pakistan games, it was disappointing in both forms of the game but I think it was a good experience here, even for me being here for the first time.

In the bowling department, I think I have been underused on most occasions. I am not a scapegoat bowler in this team to be use only when things are difficult. Things can be handled a bit better in that scenario.

Bk, Lara, LPA....unnu hear thatbig grin.

This Christmas is not going to be a party Christmas for me but you can find me in the club most of the times.

in the rass nets....is where we should be finding you rass....most of the times.

So we know what to expect come WC...... and we wonder when we see them crapping in the middle, why it happens... Here is why.

The chopping and changing is going to be difficult for us and put us on the back foot. Personally from my point of view, things can be handled right within the team with the selections on a whole. It's about time we have a steady World Cup squad, there is no time to experiment now.

Geeeeeeeeez I thought it was only us stupid fans that noticed that approach. This is very brave of you to speak out like this. Take care you do not get the Sarwan treatment now.

What he's saying is also problematic since it means that we should stick it out with Samuels, Dwayne Smith, Darren Powell, etc. That does not augur well for WI.

I am trying to understand this statement. I do not see where there was experimenting with the selections. I assume Taylor was not picked because he was rested. And, quite frankly, with the poor and/or inconsistent batting performances this year, they do need to experiment with batting positions.

Or is he saying that Sammy should not bat at 4? cool

The man said it will not be a "party Christmas"!! Which leads me to conclude that the "club" Onry is referring to is the Lucas Cricket "Club". Onry is a long time member of that club!!

By the way McGrath and his Ooze mates will spend Christmas day at the nets looking at the pitch and sending down a few in readinesses for the Ashes game, the next day. The Oz have done this for years; something to do with fixtures lads and ladesses, great planning!
English football players have been sober for Christmases without number something to do with the Boxing Day matches and entertaining their fans. Drunks do not do entertainment except at the Theatre!

surprised surprised

STAY BLESSED

I think you are reading Chris from your own memory. His words were this will not be a party Christmas at the CLUBS. But most of the times you can find me at the CLUB (Singular) as in nets, at the Cricket CLUB!!!
Merry Xmas yourself, cwry. Mine will be (A HAPPY) sober one like Onry.

STAY BLESSED!
