HEADLINE: Taylor heading to Glamorgan?

West Indies fast bowler Jerome Taylor is negotiating a sponsorship deal with Digicel that could include a stint with English county side Glamorgan.

According to information reaching CaribbeanCricket.com, the 22-year-old Jamaican will join Glamorgan immediately after the West Indies tour of England. The Digicel-sponsored scholarship is valued at US$40,000. Full Story

I think his selection for Glamorgna is a good thing. As said before, he can learn from bowling with Simon Jones. Staying in Jamaica and playing Mickey Mouse cricket is not going to advance his career. He needs to follow in the footsteps of Holding, walsh and Marshall and make his name in county cricket, and hoepfully he will improve as a result.
