Stuart Williams Named Leewards Skipper

Stuart Williams, the right-handed Nevisian opening batsman and former Test player, will lead the Leeward Islands in the 2002 Busta Cup regional cricket tournament.

This announcement was made today by the Leeward Islands Cricket Association. The only newcomer to the squad is Dominican Adam Stanford who previously played for the Windward Islands.

The Leewards will face Trinidad and Tobago in Trinidad in their first game on January 25.
