Windies 'A' Tour to England 2002 Itinerary

The West Indies 'A' team will play six first-class and eight one-day games on their seven-week tour to England which begins on June 10.

According to the West Indies Cricket Board, the schedule includes a three-day game against India and a one-dayer against Sri Lanka. Both Asian teams will be touring England this summer.

Four 4-day games and a three-day fixture will be against English county teams.

Ireland will host the West Indians for two one-day games while the remaining one-dayers will be against county teams as well as the Combined Universities.

The itinerary of the West Indies A-Team tour was confirmed at the WICB's board of directors' meeting at the Jolly Harbour Hotel on Saturday.

17 -- vs Combined Universities, Oxford

19 -- vs Sri Lanka, Hove

21 -- vs Sussex/Essex/Surrey, Hove

26-29 -- vs Derbyshire, Derby

JULY


3-6 -- vs Nottinghamshire, Trent Bridge

7 -- vs Yorkshire, Headingley

10-13 -- vs Lancashire, Old Trafford

16-18 -- vs India, Arundel

20-22 -- vs Warwickshire, Edgbaston

24-27 -- vs Somerset, Taunton
