Hooper, Chanderpaul Among the Runs

In reply, Ridley Jacobs' XI knocked off the runs for the loss of two wickets.

Left hander Shiv Chanderpaul, returning from an injury that kept him out of the tour to Sri Lanka, got among the runs with 60 not out while Wavell Hinds hit an unbeaten 62.

Opener Sherwin Campbell, drafted into the squad for the injured Ramnaresh Sarwan, scored 25.

After the game, the West Indies selectors were expected to pick the 16-man squad to make the tour to Sharjah to take on the Pakistanis.
