Hinds, Browne in Windies Team to Sharjah

The West Indies Cricket Board on Tuesday named Ryan Hinds and Darrell Brown as the two new faces the 15-man team for the series against Pakistan in Sharjah.

The Barbadian Hinds, who is yet to play a Test match, was included along with Browne, a right-arm medium pacer from Trinidad and Tobago.

Browne takes the place of Guyanese Neil McGarrell.

Carl Hooper (captain), Ridley Jacobs (vice-captain), Darrell Brown, Sherwin Campbell, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Pedro Collins, Corey Collymore, Cameron Cuffy, Mervyn Dillon, Daren Ganga, Chris Gayle, Ryan Hinds, Wavell Hinds, Dinanath Ramnarine, Marlon Samuels.

Marlon Black, Ian Bradshaw, Leon Garrick, Keith Hibbert, Jermaine Lawson, Neil McGarrell and Dave Mohammed were named as reserves.

The team departs from Barbados on Friday, January 25 and arrives in Dubai via London at 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, January 26.
