Day 3 Scores: Guyana Clinches First Innings

Guyana skipper Mahendra Nagamootoo and wicketkeeper Azib Ally Haniff put together an unbeaten 86-run partnership to lead Guyana to first innings points over table-topping Windward Islands in their 2002 Busta Cup third round match.

In other matches, Trinidad and Tobago and Bangladesh 'A' played to a draw, Leewards took first innings points from Windies 'B' and Jamaica held a commanding lead over Barbados.

Trinidad and Tobago v Bangladesh 'A'


Trinidad and Tobago, set 293 to beat Bangladesh 'A' off a minimum 40 overs plus 15 mandatory overs, reached 121 for four when the game was called off. Rain ruined most of the day's play.

The Leeward Islands, replying to the West Indies 'B' team's first innings score of 219, were 270/4.
