Garrick (138), Murray (70) Among The Runs

Jamaican opener Leon Garrick and Windward Islands 'keeper/batsman Junior Murray continued to tweak the interest of the regional selectors in the fourth round of the Busta Cup competition.

Garrick took advantage of the Windies 'B' selection to score 138 as Jamaica reached 318/6 while Murray's top-score of 70 helped the Windwards to 233 in their match against the Leewards. Click on read more for summarised scores of all matches (day one).

Jamaica, sent to bat by West Indies "B", were 318 for six at the Botanical Gardens. (Play started an hour late because of rain).

The Leeward Islands, replying to the Windward Islands' first innings score of 233, were 47 for one at the A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground.

Bangladesh 'A', electing to bat against Barbados, were 263 for six at Kensington Oval. Score: Bangladesh "A" 263-6 (Mazharul Hoque 83, Akram Khan 68; Ian Bradshaw 4-71).

GUYANA V TRINIDAD & TOBAGO


Trinidad and Tobago, sent to bat by Guyana, were 207 for eight at the Albion Ground.
