Nagamootoo Rips Through Leewards Batting
With the possibility of a West Indies recall on the line, Guyana
leggie Mahendra Nagamootoo ripped through the heart of the Leewards
batting as Guyana secured first innings points and enforced the
follow-on.
Nagamootoo took 6-71 to take his Busta Cup tally to 37 as the
Leewards crumbled for 237. In other matches, Barbados and Jamaica
scored outright wins over Windies 'B' and Bangladesh 'A'
respectively while Trinidad and Tobago secured first innings points
from the Windwards.
Guyana v Leewards
The Leeward Islands, following on 205 runs behind Guyana, were 60
for two in their second innings at Albion on Sunday.
Play started an hour and a half late, at 11.30 a.m. because of
rain, and a further hour was lost after tea to the weather.
