Busta Becomes a Television Star
The final of the Busta International Shiled Cup competition this
year will be televised live via Trans World International (TWI),
the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) announced on its Web site.
To accomodate the television coverage of the game, the board said
the date for the final has been shifted to Thursday, April 4 to
Sunday, April 7.
"This shift allows Trans World International to come out to the
Caribbean early to film the Busta International Shield final and
then go straight into production of the international home series
against India," WICB chief executive Gregory Shillingford said.
In the semi-finals, which starts on Friday, Jamaica will play
Trinidad & Tobago at Sabina Park while Guyana will host the
Leeward Islands at the Albion Sports Complex.
The WICB also announced that Dominica's Billy Doctrove and Trinidad
& Tobago's Terence Birbal will stand in the match at Albion,
while Guyana's Eddie Nicholls and Montserrat's Basil Morgan will
officiate the match at Sabina Park.
