Vishal Earns Recall to Red Stripe Squad

Guyana wicketkeeper Vishal Nagamootoo, who lost his place in the national team because of an auto accident, has been recalled for the Red Stripe Bowl, displacing young Azib Alli Haniff.

Vishal, younger brother of leg-spinner Mahendra Nagamootoo was named in a strong Guyana squad that also includes West Indies regulars Carl Hooper, Shiv Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan as Guyana gets ready to defend the Red Stripe Bowl title.

The 14-man team, to be captained by Hooper, includes spinners Neil McGarrell and Mahendra Nagamootoo and pace pair Colin Stuart and Reon King.
