Procter to Referee India-Windies Series

Former South African all-rounder, Mike Procter, will be the match referee during the Test and one-day series between India and West Indies starting in India from October 9.

Niranjan Shah, the outgoing Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, said that England's David Shepperd and Sri Lankan Ashoka D'silva will be the neutral umpires for the three Tests.

The three Tests are scheduled for Mumbai (Oct. 9-13), Chennai (Oct. 17- 21) and Kolkata (Oct. 30 to Nov three).

D'silva will also officiate as the neutral umpire for all the seven one- day internationals to be played at Jamshedpur (Nov. 6), Nagpur (Nov. 9), Rajkot (Nov. 12), Ahmedabad (Nov. 15 D/N), Baroda (Nov. 18), Jodhpur (Nov. 21) and Vishakhapatnam (Nov. 24).
