Four Newcomers in J'ca Squad

Former West Indies off-spinner Nehemiah Perry is set to make a return to first class cricket this season after being named in Jamaica's 16-man squad for the West Indies regional tournament this year.

Perry, who missed last year's tournament, was named in a squad that also included four newcomers, including heralded pacer Jerome Taylor.

The other newcomers are batsmen Donovan Pagon and Maurice Kepple and leg-spinner Odean Brown.

The Jamaica squad also sees the return of pacer Franklyn Rose.

Jamaica opens the tournament against the Leeward Islands at Ronald Webster Park in Anguilla.
