Barbados, Jamaica Take Control

Top-of-the-table Barbados took control of the early going on day one of their Carib Beer Cup match against Guyana in Berbice by bowling out the home side for 213.

In other matches, Jamaica ran through the West Indies 'B' batting line-up while Trinidad & Tobago, the Leewards also enjoyed decent returns in the middle. Complete scores from all the games follow:

Jamaica v Windies 'B':

Pacer Darren Powell ripped through the heart of the West Indies 'B' batting, grabbing 5-34 as the Under-23 select team crumbled for 94. Scores: West Indies 'B' 94 (Carlton Baugh 50; Darren Powell 5-34, David Bernard 3-14, Gareth Breese 2-20). Jamaica 124-2 (Brenton Parchment 65 not out; Amit Jaggernauth 1-23, Andrew Richardson 1-33).

Barbados v Guyana:
Winning the toss and opting to bat, Guyana collapsed to 213 all out after a decent start. It could have been worse if not for an unbeaten 40 from skipper Neil McGarrell. The fiery Tino Best softened the Guyana batting, taking 2-36. Trinidad & Tobago v India 'A':
In-form batsman Imran Jan narrowly missed a century and captain Daren Ganga's 68 pushed Trinidad & Tobago to a first innings score of 261 against India 'A'. Scores: T&T 261 (Imran Jan 94, Daren Ganga 68, Andy Jackson 62; Avishkar Salvi 4-58, Lakshmipathy Balaji 4-59).

Windward Islands v Leeward Islands:
A swashbuckling 158 from former West Indies opener Stuart Williams helped the Leewards recover from a start of 20 for four to reach 280 for seven in Dominica. (Rain interrupted a portion of the first session). Scores: Leewards 280-7 (Stuart Williams 158, Ian Tittle 54; Cameron Cuffy 2-47, Olanzo Jackson 2-84).
