T&T Triumph Despite Williams Ton

Former West Indies opener Stuart Williams put the scare into Trinidad & Tobago with a rapidfire 167 but it was all for naught as Trinidad & Tobago romped to a 180-run win inside three days.

In Guyana, another former Test player Rawl Lewis stroked a valuable unbeaten 117 to help the Windwards to 307 and leave that game nicely poised heading into the final day. Trinidad and Tobago defeated the Leeward Islands by 180 runs late on the third day of their seventh-round match in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Set 525 for victory, the Leewards were bowled out for 344.
