Carib Beer 7th Round All-Stars

The final round of the Carib Beer Cup produced a total of six centuries, the most in any round of the tournament. Centuries by Brian Lara (T&T), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (Guyana) and Sherwin Campbell (Barbados) helped secure outright wins.

Stuart Williams (Leewards) also got a second innings century in a losing cause while Rawl Lewis (Windwards) and Carlton Baugh (Windies 'B') scored unbeaten hundreds for teams losing outright. All six century makers, along with Trinidadian, Andy Jackson, who scored half centuries in both innings of T&T's match, make up the batting line up for this round's All-Star team.

The bowling quartet is made up of three who got five-wicket hauls: Tino Best of Barbados, Jerome Taylor of Jamaica and Kerry Jeremy of the Leeward Islands. Left-arm spinner Dave Mohammed of Trinidad & Tobago, who had a total match haul of seven (7) wickets gets in too. Although Mohamed did not get a five-wicket haul in any of the two innings, his total match haul of 7 wickets was crucial in securing a win for his team to give them a chance to qualify for the semi-finals of the International Shield.

Carlton Baugh is the Wicket-keeper for this round.

The reserves are lead by Jason Bennett (Windies 'B'), who had a five-wicket haul, but had to give way on the final eleven to Dave Mohammed on account of the impact of the latter's performance on his team victory. The other reserves are Dwayne Bravo (Trinidad & Tobago), David Bernard (Jamaica), Gareth Breese (Jamaica) and Reon Griffith (Guyana).

The players of the round are Brian Lara, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Dave Mohammed.
