Gayle, Obuya in Vice Chancellor's XI

Jamaican opener Chris Gayle and Kenyan leg-spinner Collins Obuya have been named in the UWI Vice Chancellor's XI to play against the visiting Australians in Barbados from April 26-28.

Gayle, dropped in controversial circumstances from the West Indies team, gets a chance to show what the team is missing. The Vice Chancellor's XI will be captain by Barbadian opener Philo Wallace.

Obuya, who just inked a deal to be Warwickshire's overseas player this season, will be the guest player in the team, which includes three players from UWI and a host of young players.

UWI Vice Chancellor's XI:

Philo Wallace (Barbados, captain)
Dary Balgobin (UWI)
