Day Three Sights and Scenes

Day Three at Kensington was hot and hazy, and the crowds turned out in force at the prospect of the West Indies putting on a good batting show. Party atmosphere prevailed even after the opening partnership was broken, but as the wickets fell the enthusiasm started to dampen.

When Brian Lara finally emerged at number 8, after hours of speculation about his mystery illness, it was to a standing ovation as the crowd welcomed their crown Prince.
