Hurley To Make ODI debut

Barbadian all-rounder Ryan Hurley will make his ODI debut for the West Indies in Trinidad & Tobago on Saturday.

Hurley was named in the final eleven for Saturday's fourth match against Australia at the expense of Omari Banks, who must consider himself unlucky to have lost his place. Struggling opener Devon Smith has also lost his place with the selectors going back to a conventional bowling line-up with the inclusion of Vasbert Drakes.

The other change to the side that lost the third ODI badly in St Lucia was at the wicket-keeper spot. Ridley Jacobs, who was getting an extended rest, will reclaim his place at the expense of back-up Carlton Baugh.

Hurley, an off-spinning all-rounder with two first class centuries to his name, was a bright spot in the Carib Beer competition this season, helping to lead Barbados to the 2003 title. The right-hander is also considered a brilliant fielder and was added to the team to add some spark to a lacklustre West Indies side.
