Bradshaw Fires B'dos to RSB Finals

An inspired spell of fast bowling by left-arm seamer Ian Bradshaw fired Barbados to a 61-run win over Trinidad & Tobago in a low-scoring Red Stripe Bowl semi-final match at Kaiser Oval in Jamaica.

Bradshaw ripped the heart out of the Trinidad top order, finishing with 5 for 22 from 10 overs as Barbados advanced to Sunday's final against Guyana.

Chasing a target of 175, Trinidad never got going and when Bradshaw accounted for West Indies champion batsman Brian Lara, lbw first ball for a duck, the match swung decisively in Barbados' favour.

Shazam Babwah (30) and Aneil Kanhai (21) put up a modest fight but it was not enough as pacer Pedro Collins (2-26) helped put the final nail in Trinidad & Tobago's coffin.

Earlier, Barbados crashed to 175 all-out off 48.2 overs against a disciplined Trinidad bowling attack. Dwayne Smith (37) and Ryan Hurley 26 were the main contributors. Seamer Dwayne Bravo was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 34 from 10 overs.
