10-Wicket Match Haul for Taylor
Teenage West Indies pacer Jerome Taylor warmed up for the Test series against Zimbabwe with a impressive six-wicket haul (10 wickets in the match) as the tourists came within a whisker of winning their opening tour match.
The Jamaican 19-year-old grabbed 6 for 58 in the second innings to go along with a four-wicket first innings haul as Zimbabwe 'A' reached 246 for nine at the end.
FINAL SCORES:West Indies 404-5 declared (Daren Ganga 110, Shiv Chanderpaul 102 retired, Marlon Samuels 66 not out; ) and 343-6 declared (Marlon Samuels 147, Daren Ganga 69 not out, carlton Baugh 44).
Zimbabwe 'A' 242 all out (S Matsikenyeri 84 not out, V Sibanda 51; Vasbert Drakes 5-66, Jerome Taylor 4-46) and 246-9 (C Evans 59, B Rogers 45; Jerome Taylor 6-58, Vasbert Drakes 2-30).
Carlton Baugh kept wicket for the West Indians in the first innings and Ridley Jacobs took over in the second.
