4th Test Squad: Dillon in; Mohamed Out

The West Indies selectors on Thursday included struggling fast bowler Merv Dillon in a 12-man squad for the fourth and final Test against South Africa.

Dillon replaces left-arm wrist spinner Dave Mohamed in the squad, from which the final eleven will be named before the toss. Middle order batsman Shiv Chanderpaul also returns and will slide into the spot vacated by the injured Wavell Hinds.

Dwayne Smith, who is nursing a finger injury, passed a fitness test and was included for the Test, which begins tomorrow at Supersport Park.

Fast bowler Ravi Rampaul, who showed good form in the recent tour match against Easterns, was not named in the 12.

The West Indies will likely choose four pacers from Dillon, Fidel Edwards, Vasbert Drakes, Adam Sanford and Corey Collymore.
