Defending champions Barbados secured a 40-run win over hosts Jamaica to extend their lead in the Carib Beer 2004 competition.

Final scores: Barbados 198 (Ryan Hinds 56, Antonio Mayers 47; Ryan Cunningham 4-49, Gareth Breese 3-52, Tamar Lambert 2-6) and 251 (Martin Nurse 77, Tino Best 42 not out; Andrew Richardson 4-36, Gareth Breese 3-79). Jamaica 205 (Dave Bernard 81; Tino Best 5-44, Pedro Collins 2-42, Sulieman Benn 2-47) and 204 (Maurice Kepple 65, Keith Hibbert 51; Sulieman 3-21, Ryan Nurse 3-48, Tino Best 3-53).

Darren Sammy's five-wicket haul led the Windwards to a 131-run victory over winless Guyana. Sammy (5-20) teamed up with Deighton Butler (4-17) to scythe through the Guyana batting on the fourth day at the Botanic Gardens.

Kenya at Trinidad & Tobago (Shaw Park): A five-wicket haul from Trinidad & Tobago's Reyad Emrit pushed the home side to the brink of an outright victory over Kenya but the visitors clung on for a draw on another rain-interrupted day.

Final scores: Trinidad & Tobago 257 (Shazam Babwah 100, Dwayne Bravo 69; Peter Ongondo 5-60, Maurice Odumbe 3-63) and 103 (Martin Suji 4-23, Maurice Odumbe 3-16, Steve Tikolo 2-22). * The West Indies 'B' team, made up entirely of Under-23 players, also completed an outright victory in the third round, whipping the Leeward Islands inside three days.
