Hinds is B'dos Hero; Morton Sinks Guyana
Led by a fine all-round performance from Ryan Hinds, Barbados easily beat the Windward Islands by five wickets to jump to the top of the points standings of this year's unsponsored West Indies one-day competition.
The left-handed Hinds took 2-20 as the favoured Barbados reduced the Windwards to 127 off 47.3 overs; then top-scored with 34 as the Bajans cruised to 129 for five off just 37.1 overs.
West Indies opener Devon Smith held together the Windwards batting with a responsible knock of 64 but it was never enough as Pedro Collins (3-20) and Sulieman Benn (3-29) ripped through the batting order.
FINAL SCORE: Windwards 127 off 47.3 overs (Devon Smith 64; Pedro Collins 3-20, Sulieman Benn 3-29, Ryan Hinds 2-20). Barbados 129-5 off 37.1 overs (Ryan Hinds 34; Kenroy Peters 2-23, Deighton Butler 2-28).

At Albion in Berbice, Runako Morton's unbeaten 74 paced the Leewards to a four-wicket win over hosts Guyana.
Morton's match-winning knock follows an unbeaten century in an earlier match against Jamaica. It ensured Guyana suffered its first loss in the competition and set up an interesting battle for the final four spots.
Guyana batted first and struggled to 199 all out from 50 overs with Narsingh Deonarine's 51 being the top score. Lennox Cush supported with 42 but Wilden Cornwall (5-36) and Tonito Willett (3-33) did the damage for the Leewards.
FINAL SCORE: Guyana 199 off 50 overs (Narsingh Deonarine 51, Lennox Cush 42; Wilden Cornwall 5-36, Tonito Willett 3-33, Elsroy Powell 2-31). Leeward Islands 200 for 6 off 49.1 overs (Runako Morton 74 not out, Austin Richards 50; Reon King 2-45).
