Windwards Win One-Wicket Thriller

Windwards skipper Rawl Lewis hit an unbeaten 31 -- including a six in the dying stages -- to guide his side to a come-from-behind one-wicket win over the Leewards in the unsponsored West Indies one day tournament.

Chasing 229 for victory, the Windwards struggled to 178 for 8 before Lewis and Kenroy Peters scraped together a ninth-wicket partnership of 45 to secure a thrilling win.

Earlier, all-rounder Wilden Cornwall hit 53 and Runako Morton (50) continued his fine run of form to push the Leewards to 229 for nine off 50 overs. Kenroy Peters (3-30) Liam Sebastien (2-43) and Orlanzo Jackson (2-57) were the wicket takers.
