T&T Qualify for Semis

Trinidad & Tobago secured a spot in next weekend's regional one-day semifinals with a tough eight-run win over the Leewards on Sunday at Uitvlugt.

Two wickets each by Richard Kelly, Rodney Sooklal and Reyad Emrit helped Trinidad & Tobago reduce the Leewards to 211 all out despite another fighting knock of 87 from the in-form Runako Morton.

Trinidad & Tobago 219 all out from 49.1 overs (Dinesh Ramdin 41; Wilden Cornwall 4-52, Omari Banks 2-33, Kerry Jeremy 2-42). Leewards 211 all out off 49.1 overs (Runako Morton 87, Alex Adams 51; Richard Kelly 2-22, Rodney Sooklal 2-27, Reyad Emrit 2-46).
