Aussie Physio Gets W.I Job

Bennett King continues to surround himself with his Queensland colleagues.

The latest Australian to join the West Indies coaching staff is Stephen Partridge, who will replace Andrew Simpsion as the team physiotherapist. Partridge gets a three-year contract and will arrive in the Caribbean this weekend to join the pre-tour camp in Barbados.

King has already handpicked his former Aussie academy colleague David Moore to be the West Indies assistant coach.

Another Queensland product, Darren Holder, is rumoured to be joining King's staff as the fast bowling coach. Holder is currently coaching manager in the WICB's development unit but he has been handling a lot of work for Bennett King and will also be in Barbados for the camp.

The new physio is graduate of the University of Queensland with a Masters degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

He was most recently Principal Physiotherapist to both the Australia ?A? team and the Queensland Bulls cricket teams.

Bennett King was Queensland Bulls head coach before leaving to manage's Australia's cricket academy.
