Banks, Jeremy Rout Jamaica
Kerry Jeremy and Omari Banks shared three wickets apiece as the Leeward Islands skittled out hosts Jamaica for 188 on the opening day of round one of the 2005 Carib Beer series.
It was a disappointing day for the crowd at the Kaiser Sports Club as Jamaica's batsmen struggled to deal with the Leewards seamers. Only Donovan Pagon (44) and stand-in captain Tamar Lambert (38) showed any resistance.
Jeremy led the way with 3-41 while Banks picked up 3-51. Former West Indies pacer Adam Sanford was also among the wicket, picking up 2-38 while Carl Simon also had two scalps.
Rain completely washed out the first day in the other two scheduled matches; Barbados against the Windwards and Trinidad vs Guyana.
