Deonarine Slams 93 in 'No Result'

Guyanese left-hander Narsingh Deonarine helped himself to a fighting 93 against Trinidad & Tobago at Couva but it was all in vain as the rain-affected Carib Beer Cup match ended as a 'no result'.

Deonarine's 93 was the highlight of Guyana's disappointing first innings score of 163 all out. In reply, hosts Trinidad & Tobago also struggled mightily, reaching 120 for seven when bad light stopped play.

Captain Domadar Daesrath was the chief destroyer with a haul of 5-34.

The first two days were completely washed out and play started late on the third day Sunday.
