Edwards Back for B'dos Test

Fast bowler Fidel Edwards has been recalled for the third Test against South Africa in Barbados, taking the place of his half brother Pedro Collins.

Collins, who struggled with no-balls in the first two Tests, has a slight back injury, the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) announced on Sunday. Ryan Hinds also returns to the side in place of Donovan Pagon.

Edwards last appeared in a Test match eight months ago during the West Indies tour of England. He was sidelined with a stress fracture in the lower back that limited him to just a handful of first class games this year.

In three games for Barbados in the Carib Beer Cup competition, Edwards finished with nine wickets, avg. 30.11.

The right-armer with the slingshot action has picked up 39 wickets in 15 Tests for the West Indies (avg. 46.94).
