Gayle Appointed WI Vice-Captain

Left-handed opener Chris Gayle has been appointed vice-captain of the West Indies Team for the rest of the ODI Series against Pakistan.

Gayle fills in as Brian Lara's deputy in the absence of Ramnaresh Sarwan, who was forced to cut short the tour with a foot injury. The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) also announced that Sylvester Joseph has been appointed Captain for the West Indies 'A' team One Day Series against Sri Lanka 'A'.
