Shane Powell in J'ca FC Squad
St. Elizabeth wicketkeeper/batsman Shane Powell has been named in Jamaica's 18-man squad for the Carib Beer Series and KFC Cup tournaments.The team, which will be captained by Wavell Hinds, also includes West Indies players Chris Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Jerome Taylor, Darren Powell and Carlton Baugh.
Tamar Lambert has been retained and vice-captain while Jermaine Lawson, David Bernard Jr., and Brenton Parchment also secured places.
Andrew Richardson and Donovan Pagon are injured and were not considered for selection.
A notable omission is opening batsman Xavier Marshall.
