B'dos Take Lead After 1st Round

Barbados tops the standings at the end of the first round of the Carib Beer Cricket Series 2007, after beating Trinidad and Tobago by three wickets in the first round encounter.

The Leeward Islands and Jamaica wrestled to a draw as the light faded in St Kitts with the Leewards still needing three wickets, and Jamaica looking for a further 85 runs.

In Grenada, the Windward Islands were unable to capitalise on their 392 for 8 declared and get first innings points over Guyana in a game badly affected by the rain.

Stumps were drawn with Guyana on 245 for 5 in their first innings, ending the game in a no-result.
