Deal Reached: Announcement Coming Today
The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and the players' association have reached an eleventh hour agreement on match/tour fees that clears the way for the official release of squad for the ODI tour of India.Sources tell CaribbeanCricket.com the deal was hammered out after extensive -- and sometimes contentious -- negotiations between the two sides. An announcement is expected from the WICB later today (Thursday).
The West Indies will play four ODIs on the tour, which begins in Nagpur on January 21.
