John Dyson is new WI head coach

The new head coach of the West Indies team is John Dyson.

Dyson, who played in 30 Tests and 29 ODIs for Australia in the late '70s '80s, was appointed to lead the team at a WICB board meeting in Barbados today.

The 53-year-old coach previously served as head coach of Sri Lanka national team.

The WICB said the rest of the Team Management will be identified and appointed subsequently.

A new CEO was also identified but details are being kept under wraps until a contract is signed.
