WICB Commercial Manager Quits
Paul Skinner has resigned as Commercial Manager of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) after less than two years on the job.
Skinner, a Barbadian who took on the role of Commercial Manager when the marketing unit was revamped by former WICB president Ken Gordon, held responsibility for managing the board's commercial and business development department.
Skinner did not respond to a request for comment.
In Skinner's absence, the important unit will now be managed by sponsorship and events officers Anjanette Poujade-Wiltshire and Nelecia Yeates.
The WICB also has a new "marketing and business development committee" that is now chaired by director Gregory Shillingford. That committee also includes Colin Borde, Emanuel Nanthan and Charles Wilkin.
The Commercial Manager's post is one of the most crucial posts in the WICB since it is tasked with growing existing business deals and exploring new revenue streams for the board.
It also manages sponsorship deals for all major tournaments and for the senior West Indies team.
