Two newcomers in Jamaica squad
19 year olds Horace Miller and Jason Dawes have been selected to the Jamaica senior side for the upcoming regional first class tournament. Dawes, a fast bowler, took 5 for 51 in the final trial match at Sabina Park. Miller, an opening batsman, has represented both West Indies Under-19 and Jamaica in limited overs.
Test batsman Wavell Hinds makes a return to the national side after a first class season in England with the Derbyshire county side.
Pending the availability of West Indies players currently in New Zealand, the full squad consists of Brenton Parchment, Danza Hyatt, Horace Miller, Donovan Pagon, Tamar Lambert, Wavell Hinds, David Bernard, Keith Hibbert, Odean Brown, Gavin Wallace, Andre Russell, Jason Dawes, Andrew Richardson, and Lorenzo Ingram.
