Murray stumped; Azim Bassarath is new T&T cricket chief
Azim Bassarath is the new president of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB). The former TTCB first vice-president ousted his ex-boss Deryck Murray to walk away with the president's post at the 53rd edition of the Board's annual general meeting yesterday.Bassarath led nearly a complete sweep for his "Movement for Change" group, with only Sukesh Maniam retaining the treasurer's position for the "Friends of Cricket" slate headed by Murray.
